In 2008 we donated $2,500 to Melridge Elementary School to assist in completing the installation of new playground equipment. In 2009 we selected Madison Avenue Elementary School and they worked on maintenance of their playground and the school grounds in general. Last year we donated $3500 to the Riverside High School Baseball Athletic Program and purchased a batting cage that drops from the ceiling within 2 minutes. This year we selected Leroy Elementary School and will be purchasing approximately 30 Nooks to help expose the students to modern technology while promoting reading in a new format. In creating our scholarship fund we wanted to have great flexibility and reach a large number of students.
